BRAND COLLABORATIONS & CUSTOM PROJECTS
Quirky Paper Co. loves to collaborate with brands on custom design projects, such as: custom buttons, magnets, enamel pins, greeting card designs,
and stationery design.
Below is a sampling of past projects we have worked on.
Custom Enamel Pins for
SOIRETTE PASTRY BOUTIQUE
A custom set of enamel pins for Vancouver-based Soirette Pastry Boutique, a shop that specializes in delicious cakes, desserts and Parisian macarons. I collaborated with Shobna Kannusamy, the owner and head pastry chef, to create a set of pins that represented the fun and elegance of Soirette’s pastries.
“Cheryl was so much fun to work with. Her ideas and originality shines through her work. She is easy to get along with and will always do her best for you.
We are proud to be carrying her products in our store!”
- Shobna Kannusamy, Owner of Soirette Pastry Boutique

CUSTOM BUTTON BOOKMARK + MAGNET FOR
AINSWORTH CUSTOM DESIGN
A collaboration with Karin Edworthy, Owner of Ainsworth Custom Design, a custom metal fabrication studio and storefront filled with local handmade works located at the east end of Granville Island. We collaborated on a collection of custom products to highlight Granville Island, aiming to create a set of fun products that would be enjoyed by both tourists and locals alike.
The button features the iconic aquabus in front of a scene of the Burrard Bridge, and the button is packaged along with a bookmark backing. The bookmark is a map of Granville Island, highlighting the key buildings and attractions.
The magnet focuses on Granville Island’s Public Market, showcasing the colourful exterior along with the bustle of visitors, buskers, bikes, and the many seagulls who try to steal your food! The back of the magnet backing features the metal gates that were created by Ainsworth, which can be found at the entrance of the cement factory.
CUSTOM THANK YOU CARD FOR
JOHN T. MEYER
John wanted to create a thank you card that he could give to friends, coworkers and clients. As the CEO of Lemonly, an infographic design agency, he wanted the card to have a slight nod to Lemonly, but still be personal to him. John envisioned something minimal and subtle, and had the fun idea to be inspired by the look of Presidential stationery.
I decided to include a lemon “seal” at the top of the card, with a simple border as well as “From the desk of…” to reference Presidential stationery. As an added nod to Lemonly, a lemon is incorporated in the “O” of “Thank You”.
“Quirky Paper Co. took what was in my head and brought it to life.
The design is fantastic and the process was painless.”
- John T. Meyer, CEO of Lemonly
